Write your first Twitter Thread like a PRO

Do you like reading Threads, I bet you do.
Sometimes you can not express yourself within 280 character limit and Threads comes to your rescue.
It’s important to understand that Threads have to be engaging otherwise you might get neglected, but today we are talking about writing your first thread.
Our focus is not on ‘How to write a Thread that gets loads of likes and retweets’
Our focus is ‘How to write a Thread’
I want you to take action and write that first long-form content, whether it’s on LinkedIn, Twitter, or Medium.

Who is this email for?
You struggle to write long-form content
Never wrote one
Not sure what to write
If you are still reading, you might be wondering, why should I listen to this guy?
Fare enough, let me give you a few reasons
I know the pain, I was in the same boat as you
I also get lost often and feel stuck
I have overcome this challenge so I know something worth sharing
We are going to follow this simple flow

PROBLEM ➡ SOLUTION ➡ ACTION
THE PROBLEM
You are CONFUSE
Confusion is the biggest enemy of ACTION.
Whenever we feel confused, we feel stuck and couldn’t do anything.
Imagine, you are planning to watch a movie on Netflix. It’s Sunday afternoon, you just finished your Lunch, you sat on the couch and now you are ready to watch a great movie.
You open Netflix and start thinking about what to watch. You start scrolling and don’t realize that you have spent 15 min just to find a movie to watch.
You grew frustrated and now take your phone, open your browser, and type - ‘Best Romantic Movie of 2023’
Finally, you found a movie and you head over to Netflix and you find out that the movie is on another OTT platform.
You don’t have a subscription to that OTT platform, so you buy one and finally start watching a movie.
Guess what you lost 1 hour, had to buy a new subscription and now your mood is ruined.
The same is true for content creators, when we are confused, we waste our time finding things and grew frustrated.
Okay, let’s play a small game. Can you answer this for me?
Do you keep looking for new tricks and hacks?
Spend so much time in giveaways and downloading Notion Guides.
Knows how to grow but are not sure where to start?
Looking for a mechanism that will super simplify the Twitter game for you?
Did you nod, yes, my friend, you are in the zone of confusion.
THE SOLUTION
Let’s put some ACTION
Most of us think, let me first figure it out, and then I will start putting action.
Have you bought any online courses and binged watched the whole course without taking action?
We think, let me first finish the course and then I will start applying.
Instead, start applying whatever you know and you will start seeing results.
You know what, forget about this email.
Start writing right now, you can read this email later.
Start jotting your thoughts down, and create a draft, only action brings results.
If you are feeling stuck, reply to this email or DM me on Twitter: @hi_gaganthakur
THE ACTION
Write about your STRUGGLE
If you are not able to write a Thread or long for content, it’s a struggle you are going through.
I wrote a Thread on my struggle
A Thread about how to write a Thread

Some Thread Ideas you can steal
Why you joined Twitter?
Why do you show up every day?
How was your experience on Twitter so far?
What’s your vision and mission?
Who do you admire the most on Twitter and Why?
What was the biggest mistake of your life?
What is the thing you are proud of?
Remember..
Be Authentic
Be Vulnerable
If you think who will read, get rid of this thought first.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this email, we are trying to write first, we are not writing to impress.
Don't change for anyone.
Change for yourself.— Ankur Warikoo (@warikoo)
